Margaret river
western australia
Margaret River is situated in the far south-west region of Western Australia and is one of the most isolated wine regions in the world. The local area is home to ancient forests, immaculate beaches and flora and fauna that is endemic to this region.
Margaret River was originally a regional town occupied by farmers and surfers, but today has grown into one of Australia's most distinguished wine regions due to its ideal conditions for growing premium quality grapes. There are now more than 150 wineries established in the region, the producers of exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon and other white wine varieties.

Hero Grape Varieties
Cabernet Sauvignon is the hero variety for many in Margaret River. Often blended with Merlot, the wines are medium to full-bodied aromatic wines with rich flavours of blackberry, cherry and mint. The flavours of this rich wine can also be enhanced by ageing.
